Barn Shenanigans :)

TIP: VIEW IN FULL SCREEN. Sorry it is really tiny. I haven’t quite figured out all this technology! Haha

After I put Vinnie back in his pasture, I was swarmed by all the others! Ray came over and took Vinnie’s halter right off my shoulder. He started playing with it so I decided to take a video of the adorable goof ball. Then I started walking away, dragging the halter behind me (because I was too lazy to pick it up) and he was chasing it! So of course I ran around the pasture (looking like an idiot haha) while recording Ray on my phone. So that is why part of it is very shaky. Sorry if the shakiness hurts your noggin. Then Mare came in and captured the halter. Kasino and Bey are just chilling like normal while Vinnie and G are stuck in their individual paddocks. Vinnie desperately wanted to join in on the fun!

Fooled Again

I woke up thinking today was going to be a beautiful day! I mean, this sunrise looks promising, right? ImageI was wrong. You fooled me again, weather. The clouds rolled in later and it was a rainy morning followed by a cloudy afternoon with occasional sprinkles. The sun is teasing us all.

This morning I had the last slice of pumpkin pie for breakfast. I love having pumpkin pie for breakfast! I enjoyed it with berries and a glass of milk. ImageThen it was off to work! I packed trail mix for my morning snack. I finished up the credit card statements and didn’t have anything else to work on. I was so happy I brought my book with me. I finished reading it right when we pulled into our driveway this afternoon. If you like twisted humor, this book is for you! I laughed out loud quite a few times. Image For lunch I packed chicken sausage, pasta, and an apple. I am trying to use up what we have in our fridge so nothing goes to waste. Of course, some stuff I just can’t get to in time, but not nearly as much! Image On our way home my dad and I stopped at Food Lion to pick up a few things for dinner. My mom told me on Sunday that my dad wanted homemade pizza one night for dinner, and that night is tonight. Eduardo fooled me again. I was having a really hard time in Food Lion. My dad was basically picking everything out that he wanted on the pizza. It felt like I had no option and I was really freaking out because the voice in my head was telling me that my dad’s way of preparing the pizza wouldn’t be acceptable. I fell right into the trap. I am still really scared of dinner, but I am just going to do my best to ignore that annoying voice of Eduardo and enjoy the pizza that we make. I just wanted to break down in tears when we were standing in line and I kind of feel that way right now, but I have to think about he good things that will come of me eating! There, typing that just made me feel a little better already. Once we made it home I decided to go out to the barn and spend some time with Vinnie to ease my mind. That definitely worked. There is something about being out there by myself that is so relaxing. The quiet is peaceful and it feels like it is the perfect place for me to go to take a step back from the world. I always feel bad putting Vinnie back in his pasture because he loves getting brushed and being fed treats. But he does seem to enjoy spending time in his corner close to G. When I put him back the other horses decided they needed to swarm me! Silly horses. ImageVinnie felt taller today for some reason haha. I wish! I want a tall horse so badly.

After the barn I did some relaxing on the couch before fixing my snack. I went with raspberry Greek yogurt with some granola. That granola was good! It was the Target Simply Balanced maple granola. Image I ate it while I watched one of my shows on my laptop. Then I went and did the dishes. I am going to try my best to be fearless about dinner! I just want to enjoy it with my parents while we watch our favorite Thursday night TV shows!

I got an email from The Daily GOOD and one of today’s topic was 33 ways to stay creative. This really spoke to me and so I thought I would share 🙂 Click right here to check it out!
